Software Developer in Test
Join a team of experienced and passionate software engineering professionals as a Software Developer in Test to help Siemens Healthineers POC to build, test and deliver high quality products to customers. This position reports to the senior software engineering manager.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze product requirements and specifications, develop software test plans and test procedures for verifying and validating the software modules under testing.
- Designs, develops, maintains, and enhances the automated software integration and system test scripts.
- Reports and investigates test failures, presents technical findings.
- Develop and maintain on-premises and cloud-based test automation framework and tools.
- Develop and maintain automated testing pipelines, integrate software quality tools with CI/CD pipelines development workflows.
- Setup and maintain software automation lab to support full medical device system testing (verification, stability, stress, performance testing).
- Investigate product issues reported by the customers, quality or customer service organizations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in software related engineering or related discipline and/or an equivalent combination of education and technical experience 5+ years related industry experience.
- Industrial knowledge or experience with software automated testing approaches and methodologies.
- Experienced with programming languages such as Python, C#, Java.
- Experienced with automated testing frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, JUnit or pytest.
- Familiar with software source control systems such as Git, TFVC.
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle, familiar with the “Pull Request” type of software development process and workflow.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery technologies such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
- knowledge of servers, security and communication protocols (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth), routers and other networking technologies.
- Knowledge of Operating Systems, computer peripherals, including excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and quality mindset.
Plus:
- Software test automation experience in the Medical Device Software Development field.
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS.
- Experienced with virtual machine, container and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

The base pay range for this position is:
$95,770 - $131,681Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
