Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a SAP Senior Planning/Forecasting Specialist to join our Procurement Team based in Columbus, MS.

In this role, you will analyze inventory levels, lead times, and projected demand to determine the amount of products that will be required to attain customer support objectives (part availability – fill rate; on time delivery for internal requirements for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements, etc.). You will also maintain the forecast/parameters and recommend/implement policies and procedures relative to demand planning and forecasting in SAP. In addition, you will be responsible for SAP support for the entire Procurement team.

On the eastern border of Mississippi you’ll find Columbus, home to our Helicopter manufacturing and assembly lines and Center of Excellence for the entire North America region. It’s here that we produce the UH-72A Lakota Helicopters for the U.S. Army in addition to the H-125 aircraft for civil and commercial customers.

Your Challenges:

Stock Collection Reviews:  30%

• Analyze assembly line-order books to capture materials that need to be added to stock collection by reviewing recent sales demand, stocking and ordering requirements/restrictions and impact to inventory.  Make adjustments to stock collection directly in AHI forecast and planning tool.

SAP Support, Development and Improvement :  30%       

• Provide SAP system support to the Procurement department, including navigation and troubleshooting
• Own SAP customer database maintenance and data integrity, troubleshooting with other departments as the need arises
