As the Sr. Project Manager, you will provide management for all phases of Strategic Projects as identified by Private Wealth Management. Responsible for managing one or more projects within the constraints of scope, quality, time and cost, to deliver specified requirements and meet sponsor, management and stakeholder satisfaction.

How you’ll spend your time:

  • Provide guidance and mentoring to PWM staff on specific projects or on general project management to ensure departmental procedures met, and projects are executed in an effective manner.
  • Develop the business case and scope for each project. Ensure all project requirements and objectives are properly documented and communicated throughout the project team.
  • Review contracts and statement of work from vendors and partners. Manage and deliver the required products for each project, phase, or stage of a project based on that project's work plan. Obtains signoff from project sponsor on deliverables and project completion.
  • Ensure quality is achieved as planned. Enable quality assurance and quality control as appropriate. Develop and execute on go-to-market plans for each project while considering budget.
  • Obtain, direct, motivate and manage people; and manage the work and resources involved.
  • Establish and update project plans and project schedules with forecasts and actuals and manage deviations from plan.
  • Report to respective stakeholders through various methods including team meetings, status reports; steering committee or oversight meetings; etc.; Liaise with project sponsors, vendors, or partners. Facilitate communication to all involved as appropriate and manage expectations with all stakeholders.
  • Communicates and trains project team members on processes where needed such as change control, procurement, etc. Document, obtain approval and enforce project change management with all stakeholders. Make recommendations to improve methodologies, processes and templates.
  • Facilitate project risk reviews and proper mitigation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

We’re excited to talk to you if:

  • You possess a bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Business Administration.
  • You have 8 years of applicable experience within Financial Services and Wealth Management.
  • Or, you have a combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.
  • Position requires effective utilization of communication skills introducing new ways of thinking to apply new tools and processes, refining evaluative metrics and to constantly establish new baselines of performance providing value on projects and for the enterprise.
  • Position requires knowledge of business operations, processes and problem identification with the capability to engage senior managers in credible solution-development dialogue. 
  • Proven abilities to manage complex projects.
  • Must be goal-oriented and action-focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined, good at project planning, organizing, team motivation and delegation, pursues information to reduce uncertainty and learns how to improve performance.
  • Must be able to quickly become knowledgeable about each project sponsors specific subject matter and business challenges being addressed by the assigned project(s) across Private Wealth.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software including MS Project, MS Visio, Word,
  • Excel.
  • Agile/Scrum Master experience.

Bonus points if:

  • You have one (1) year management experience in a project management capacity.
  • You hold a PMP certification through the Project Management Institute.

Compensation Range:

Minimum: $83,200.00 - Maximum: $214,560.00
