About the Role
The Manager, On-Premise Activations translates Pressed’s on-premise strategy into clear, scalable, and execution-ready programs across limited-service restaurants (LSR), cafés, bakeries, coffee chains, and other operator-driven outlets. This is an enablement-focused role, responsible for bringing operational clarity, commercial readiness, and disciplined follow-through to the on-premise channel. The manager ensures brokers, distributors, Sales, and operators have the tools, materials, communication, and training needed to execute with excellence — driving trial, trade-up, visibility (e.g. menu placement, brand presence) all keys to driving velocity.
We define success in this role not only by what gets delivered, but how: structured planning, proactive problem solving, consistent communication, cross-functional alignment, and operational feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
On-Premise Activation Planning & Program Development
• Develop and translate on-premise strategy into clear activation plans and operator-ready toolkits for LSR, cafés, bakeries, and coffee chains.
• Create and commercialize turn-key activation programs (e.g., Buy 2 for $XX, Boost Your Coffee with Immunity, “One for the Road,” seasonal bundles, menu add-ons).
• Ensure all programs are built for ease of execution, operational feasibility, and strong commercial outcomes.
Sell-In Tools, Playbooks & Execution Resources
• Build simple, execution-ready sell-in materials (menu guides, bundle frameworks, POS, sampling plans) that support operator adoption.
• Create operator, broker, and distributor playbooks that outline the what/why/how of each program.
• Produce activation checklists, templates, timelines, and standards that ensure consistent execution across outlets.
• Ensure all toolkits, briefs, assets, and timelines are delivered on time, accurate, scalable, and operationally feasible.
Cross-Functional Readiness & Test-and-Learn Commercialization
• Partner closely with Sales, Innovation, Supply Chain, and Marketing to ensure all programs and new items are commercially ready and operationally supported.
• Lead the test-and-learn process for on-premise, capturing insights, identifying what works, and converting learnings into scalable playbooks for teams, brokers, and distributors.
• Operationalize learnings into repeatable programs, execution improvements, and channel-specific best practices.
• Identify operational risks or misalignments early and bring forward clear, actionable solutions to keep programs on track.
Broker, Distributor & Operator Enablement
• Develop and deliver Foodservice On-Premise (FSOP) broker training (brand story, product line, SKUs, menu applications, key selling points).
• Create broker and distributor propaganda (initiative briefs, one-pagers, product spotli
