<h1><span><b><b><b>Job Description Summary</b></b></b></span></h1>What impact you’ll make <br/><br/>Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for leading/ executing projects focused on industrializing new products, execution of transfers of work and development of processes from concept to non-conformance free. This role will support Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, and Generator.<p></p><h1><span><b>Job Description</b></span></h1><h1><b>What you’ll do </b></h1><ul><li><span>Manage/ Lead global NPIs and ToW projects, products and technology to secure Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost</span></li><li><span>Own component introduction/ implementation/ qualification… from design and manufacturability through stable production (industrialization)</span></li><li><span>Serve as an NPI Project Manager in a highly cross-functional environment with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, product management, etc</span></li><li><span>Improve and standardize the way of working within the team through the application of Lean methodology</span></li><li><span>Ensure the proper team is engaged in the Iterations from concept through final design with cross functional teams to ensure balance of producibility and cost</span></li><li><span>Be responsible for on time and on budget delivery of NPIs and strategic projects for both new units and services</span></li><li><span>Serve as a technical process owner for complex problems across a diverse supply chain partnering with stakeholders to solve business critical issues </span></li><li><span>Manage and communicate design change risks and impacts prior to implementation</span></li></ul><p></p><h1><b>What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)</b></h1><ul><li><span>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university (or equivalent experience)</span></li><li><span>Major <span>engineering/manufacturing/sourcing</span> experience </span></li></ul><p></p><h1><b>What will make you stand out</b></h1><ul><li>Welding Engineering Degree or experience with welding and the machining of fabricated Components.</li><li>Strong Sourcing knowledge and prior experience with Supplier Development and/or transfer of work projects.</li><li>Knowledge of Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, and Generator Components.</li><li><span>Demonstrated ability to lead a team to deliver programs / projects</span></li><li><span>Ability to present ideas effectively and concisely, both written and verbal, to team members, senior management and customers</span></li><li><span>Proven ability to work horizontally across GE and build / maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders</span></li><li><span>Cross functional experience – able to motivate team effectively, facilitate collaboration, and influence a solutions-oriented culture</span></li><li><span>Demonstrated ability to take vague problem, identify action plan, and partner with stakeholders to achieve goals </span></li><li><span>Strong project management/ organizational skills and demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion under tight deadlines </span></li><li><span>Strong verbal and written communication skills </span></li><li><span>Proficient in Microsoft products </span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we offer:</b></p><ul><li>Employment under an employment contract in an international company with a strong position in the energy market</li><li>Extensive personal and professional development opportunities in an innovative and future- oriented environment.</li><li>Open and supportive corporate culture that promotes creativity and teamwork.</li><li>Attractive compensation package including private medical care, life insurance, MultiSport card and annual bonus</li></ul><ul></ul><p></p><p></p><h1><span><b><b><b>Additional Information</b></b></b></span></h1><p><b>Relocation Assistance Provided: </b>No</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
