Rate: $17.00/HR

Available Schedule: Fri 11PM - Sat 7AM 

At Securitas, on-site Security Officers are the foundation of our organization. Our Officers are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments, help safeguard people, property, and information.

What Your Day May Look Like:

• Greet client employees, client, vendors and delivery personnel. 
• Conduct internal foot patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked ingress and egress, mechanical problems, unauthorized persons, inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear. 
• Conduct external foot patrol on foot, and in security vehicle. 
• Monitor Entrance/exits, provides guidance as needed and assists Site Supervisor with information gathering. 
• Complete daily activity, incident reports and logs via client system. 
• Provide an atmosphere in which all client employee's, client and management know their needs are being met. 
• Present a good image to the client, client employee's and vendors. 
• Operates in a calm manner and directs persons who cause disruption to leave property. 
• Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; sets up barriers and signage, and provides direction or information to others. 
• Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives, company management, or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site. 
• Acts to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accord with client standards. 
• Carries out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older. 
• High School Diploma or GED Required. 
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift. 
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift. 
• Understands the nature of customer service, and interactions with the public. 
• Must have Graveyard shift availability. 
• Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic. 
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus. 
• Must be able to interact with client and client employees in a positive manner, while maintaining excellent customer service. 
• Intermediate computer/technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports, and logs via handheld devices, and computers, camera monitoring, and reporting alarms. 
• Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist vendors, drivers, general public, co-workers, Site Supervisor, and Office Management. 
• Must be open to communication and feedback from client employees and Office Management. 
• Must be able to respond to emergencies, with rapid and effective judgment, and use appropriate escalation and force if required. 
• Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily. 
• Mut be able to work in a fast-paced environment, remain organized and professional, and check property removed from facility. 
• Must be able to learn and adhere to security operations. 
• Must provide high quality customer service in-person, over the phone, and via radio. 
• Must have a personal vehicle, Colorado Driver’s License and clean driving record.
