This role will report to the CFO of the Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) operating unit and lead the US Commercial Finance team in support of ~$1.1B of revenue. This role provides business partnership and strategic financial support to the US Commercial Vice President and their leader teams.
The role will support the ACM US Commercial organization, with a focus on driving revenue growth, profitability, and share gain in the US market. The role has a high-level of executive exposure. This high business partnering role requires the ability to influence and lead using insightful analytics. A strong business acumen, insightful knowledge of a P&L and ability to collaborate across Sales, Marketing, OU Finance, HR and other Sales finance related teams will be critical for this role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive a positive impact through the following:
Be the trusted advisor for and provide financial leadership to the US Sales Area Vice President and their leadership team, grow Market Share and execute key business financial objectives (Targeted Revenue, Operating Profit, and Free Cash Flow) while effectively managing risks and opportunities.
Partner with OU Finance, Marketing, and Commercial teams to establish revenue, margin, and op profit expectations for all major forecast cycles, including AOP, 7Q, 10Q, and strategic plan.
Lead a team of 10+ finance professionals including 3 direct reports. Lead through influence multiple cross functional partners at the Portfolio and center-lead functional support areas.
Drive strong partnership through the IBP (Integrated Business Planning) processes – including managing demand signals through partnership with demand planning, supply chain, and OU marketing teams.
Calibrate performance vs expectations by monitoring key KPIs and trends related to revenue and spending.
Manage the Overhead spending to maximize our spending into areas that drive the highest return on investment.
Active Partnership with on New Product Launches, Phase-In / Phase-Out planning, and working to drive expansion of standard margin via product mix and pricing.
Engage with the Total Rewards and US Sales Finance COE on compensation strategies and design initiatives, including the annual Sales Incentive Plan process, as well as SPIFs and special compensation issues.
Liaison support for the Region with Strategic Accounts, National Accounts and Contract Administration in order to ensure pricing strategies and growth initiatives are met.
Must Have – Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, and/or Accounting
15+ years of Finance and/or Contracting experience; or 13+ years of Financial and/or Contracting experience with a master’s degree +10 years of managerial experience
