Job Description

Experian Automotive is seeking a Salesforce Developer for one of Experian’s strongest growing business units, Auto-ID. Clients consist of many of the top auto lenders in the U.S. where we provide services to identify and recover potential discrepancies related to losses. As a Salesforce Developer, you will be a part of the Auto-ID Lender Recovery Services team and design/develop customized solutions for our internal users that not only increase productivity but develop additional products and services for our clients. You will impact the design, development, deployment of solutions used by our team in their daily processes, but also play a major role in the design and development of new functionality and applications. This is a hands-on position with visibility by Senior Leadership.

**Must live in or near Nashville TN or be willing to relocate. This role is not 100% remote. Office collaboration is required at least 1 day per week** We do have a flexible hybrid schedule. 

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team developing custom applications, services, and integrations leveraging Salesforce.com.
  • Proactively engage with the team on organizational improvements in application design, process, support, and infrastructure efforts.
  • Design, implement and maintain Salesforce configurations and customizations such as custom fields and objects, layouts, workflows, process builder, and validation rules.
  • Meet with internal users/clients to determine business, functional and technical requirements and participate in application design, configuration, testing and deployment.
  • Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, and bug fixes as needed to the Saleforce.com platform, including technical assistance and end-user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancement, and “how-to” assistance.
  • Participate in efforts to develop and execute testing, training, and documentation.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) and maintain updated ticketing for events, incidents, requests, changes, problems, etc.
  • Ensure service level availability of the Force.com and AWS platforms and integration applications and provide on-call support for break/fix/enhancement activities to resolve application issues.
  • Assist with the planning of application changes, development, and installation of upgrades, patches, and new releases.
  • Create and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without limitation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent.
  • 5+ years hands-on development experience with Salesforce Lightning
  • Development experience designing object-oriented JavaScript
  • Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.) & Metadata APIs.
  • Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and development.
  • Software engineering skills with Force.com Platform (Lightning, Apex, VisualForce, SOQL, Unit Testing)
  • Familiarity with Services Oriented Design Principles (SOA) and Web Services.
