About the role

Are you a student seeking rewarding, practical experience with a world-class science and engineering firm? The ARA office in Panama City, FL. is seeking a science intern available to work for 4 - 6 week this summer. The Intern may support a variety of efforts involving (but not limited to) the fields of microbiology and manufacturing quality assurance. 

Duties Include:

  • Conduct disinfection studies.
  • Conduct quality inspection of manufactured parts. 
  • Research, evaluate, and operate laboratory and quality manufacturing equipment.
  • Confer with scientists to resolve issues and provide technical information. 
  • Prepare data tables and charts.
  • Prepare quality assurance inspection reports. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Must be currently enrolled in a life sciences major (pre-med, biology, etc.) pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. College or University.
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must have demonstrated scholastic excellence
