The field medical management position supports the local management team where assigned and directly reports to the Corporate Medical & Employee Health (MEH) Department in Fort Worth. This position will have regional clinical case management responsibility as well. MEH Field Program Managers are responsible for improving corporate health and productivity and for actively managing health related risk through the oversight and management of occupational health programs.
Travel is required (up to 25% of time – mostly day travel)
Key responsibilities may include:
Manage disability cases for on-duty injured employees
Manage vocational rehabilitation program cases.
Determine Fitness for Duty status of active employees by reviewing clinical records, medical evaluations, physical demand criteria, physical restrictions and possible accommodations.
Partners with Employee Assistance Programs and Health Promotion Programs to address health needs of employees.
Provides case management follow up for medical conditions requiring monitoring in safety sensitive positions.
Requires strong leadership qualities such that the MEH Department’s vision, mission, and programs are integrated and promoted in the day to day operations of the company.
