FieldAI is looking for a full time Senior Accounting and Controlling professional to join our growing team. This position will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for managing and improving accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving the company's budgeting and projections. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a startup environment, have hands-on experience with Brex and QuickBooks, and a strong ability to collaborate across departments to support the business and technology teams.

What You'll Get To Do

Establish and improve accounting processes and systems: Establish and maintain efficient accounting processes, ensuring best practices for financial controls.
Manage daily administration for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR): Oversee day-to-day administration AP/AR operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
Monthly Closing and Reporting: Lead the monthly closing process, prepare and review financial documents including the Income Statement (IS), Cash Flow Statement (CFS), and Balance Sheet (BS).
Budgeting and Projections: Work closely with the business and tech teams to create accurate budgets and financial projections for company growth and team expansion.
Tax Submission and Compliance: Oversee all tax-related filings and submissions, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations. Collaborate with tax accountants to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

What You Have

5+ years of experience in accounting, controlling, or finance-related roles.
Proven ability to manage the monthly closing process and financial reporting.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial projections.
Strong knowledge of tax compliance and submission processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
Experience in a startup environment and supporting a growing organization.

Compensation and BenefitsOur salary range is generous ($70,000 - $300,000 annual), but we take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary; base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Also, while we enjoy being together on-site, we are open to exploring a hybrid or remote option.
