Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to be responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. This Engineer will build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.
The Work:
- Support planning and design effort for all tasks in the backlog (e.g. POA&M items, component upgrades, feature requests, bug fixes)
- Implement tasks in the backlog (e.g. POA&M items, component upgrades, feature requests, bug fixes)
- Review all changes to the Volta baseline
- Ensure the software can be deployed successfully in all environments (AC2SP Virtual Private Clouds on all domains)
- Ensure the security controls are implemented correctly (e.g. no regressions) with each release
- Ensure the Body of Evidence (BOE) is up-to-date with each release
Here's what you need:
- BS in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics with 3 years’ experience as an engineer OR without a degree have at least 8 years’ experience as an engineer
- Minimum 3 years’ experience applying agile methodologies to the system development life cycle
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with Infrastructure-as-Code / Configuration-as-Code
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with Commercial Cloud Services
- Minimum 1 years’ experience with Kubernetes
Bonus points if:
- Experience with Commercial Cloud Services (eg: AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with GitOps
- Experience with the Platform One Big Bang Service
- Experience with the assessment and accreditation of a national security system (NSS)
Security Clearance:
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
