Accenture Federal Services is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support our client in Herndon, VA on a hybrid schedule.
Job Description:
This person will be responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. This person will build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats, and provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity, ensuring standards of excellence are met.
Here's what you need:
- 2 years of experience building automation and continuous integration/delivery ecosystem, and using at least two of the following: Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Docker, Nexus, Ansible, Terraform, HELM
- 2 years of experience in research and development programs leveraging Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- 2 years of experience working with cloud-based solutions (Microsoft Azure preferred)
- 1 year of experience with Kubernetes and containerization
- Familiarity of at least 1 object-oriented coding language, preferably Python or Go
- Experience supporting Development teams
Bonus Points if you have:
- Strong coordination, organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to effectively execute tasks, resolve issues, and meet challenging schedules
- AWS or Azure Certification
- Experience with supporting of complex technical projects and team leads
- Fundamental understanding of networking concepts
- Cloud provisioning in cloud infrastructures
Security Clearance:
- Must have an active TS/SCI level clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
