Location: New York, NY

Duration: Full Time

Salary Range: $10000 to $120000/Year

The Role:

• Involved in engineering practices to help build Java applications.
• Create Proof of concept for developing Java Applications for payments systems
• Hands-on experience in Java Development (Java 8/11, J2EE, JMS (Java Messaging Service), Spring boot, Microservices, AWS,
• Liaise with Functional Analyst to create design documents and develop solutions.
• Manage a team of designers, developers, and testers to deliver the outcome.
• Drives execution of an outcome from inception through successful delivery through the full stack of the development services, or an outcome that spans multiple teams and integrations across the enterprise.

Job Description:

• A Development Manager is responsible for managing and leading the technical team from inception to delivery.
• This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and operations, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Define and manage development scope, objectives, and outcomes.
• Develop and manage development plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure delivery and success.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
• Track and report development progress, issues, and risks to senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes and practices.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop technical solutions that meet project requirements.
