Job Description

We are looking for a Development Lead to join our team and implement system architecture and development standards to help solve our organization’s challenges with rapid development for new applications. Development Lead responsibilities include testing and integrating program software systems to address and solve specific business problems within an organization. Ultimately, you will work with the business leaders and Systems Analyst to identify problems and then work with our IT Development Team to address those problems with innovative software solutions.

As a Development Lead, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Oversee requirements, process documentation, and solution design approaches and ensure they satisfy business needs for enterprise application initiatives
• Provide guidance and leadership to the NOC IT team on best practices and solution design
• Development Lead will need to be able to code and continue to get into the code of the team to suggest improvements and assist in debugging issues
• Provide subject matter expertise to support business requirement definition, process design, implementation of processes
• Participate in production incident troubleshooting and solution approach design and recommendations
• Assist with initial validation, support unit testing, and UAT facilitation as needed
• Drive delivery of business functionality in Service Assurance ecosystem
• Manage delivery across IT and business, employee, and vendor teams to deliver the business functionality
• Drive the design, defining the solutions and implementation strategies to support Dispatch and Field Operations
• Balance priorities from multiple areas and finding innovative IT solutions to business problems
• Work closely with vendors and 3rd party product owners for implementing solutions
• Work closely with vendor partners to manage progress on solutions development and drive rapid progress

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 5+ years’ experience driving software development lifecycle and leading IT solutions
• Ability to understand and explain complex technical information
• Collaborative, team builder with strong communication skills, ability to negotiate, often at higher levels
• Technical leadership design experience required
• Demonstrated knowledge of building, designing, and leading scaling highly available microservices.
• Extensive project experience with designing and implementing APIs using Apigee Edge.
• AGILE development experience
• Experience building Cloud-native applications using Java and Angular
• Experience working in Telecom industry is a plus
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to prioritize the key business programs by collaborating with business partners
