If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.We are currently seeking a Sr Design Validation and Test Technician.  This position requires an experienced professional to work directly with Infotainment Test & Validation team on test execution and lab management. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
 


The Role
  • Report to Test and Validation team and will be responsible to:
  • Execute day to day LVEE components testing at both in-house and external labs
  • Provide engineering support related to ECUs
  • Set up laboratory test benches, instrument the DUT and execute test procedures
  • Debug test failures and other anomalies to identify root cause and potential corrective action
  • Rigorous and detail-oriented documentation of tests and progress status
  • Organize and maintain the DVT and EMC lab space, equipment, and inventory – lab management


Qualifications
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting Digital and Analog/Mixed signal circuits
  • Detail oriented and ability to independently execute test procedures under direction from an engineer
  • Experience using laboratory test equipment, environmental chambers, power supplies, DAQ, oscilloscope, ESD simulator, antennas, etc.
  • Soldering and cable assembly experience
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and other documentation tools
  • Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude

  •  Education Requirements:
  • AA/AS and 5+ years related experience
