As a Design Technologist, you have a deep passion for bringing designs to life through technology. To thrive in this role, you’ll provide technical support and guidance on projects, tackle new skills, and show up ready for anything.

What will you do?

• Partner with designers during the design process to elevate the product experience through UX technology and assess design feasibility
• Advocate for product design with client technology stakeholders
• Developing highly interactive with transitions and motion for client’s web applications and interfaces (React / Next.js)
• Implement design systems and component libraries that scale the impact of design
• Design and rapidly ship amazing marketing sites, lead gen portals, and other similar experiences

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of Full Stack experience, in an agency setting is a bonus
• Professional experience designing and developing user interfaces, UX concepts, web sites and applications on a variety of platforms, frameworks, and methodologies
• Experience working with Figma to inspect and understand how to implement user interfaces and interaction patterns
• Ideal candidates will have a recent work portfolio of successful UI releases and can demonstrate a passion for current visual and interaction design technology trends and practices in a modern web technology context
• Experience monitoring and debugging applications that have dependencies on multiple services
• Spoken and written languages: English fluency
• Experience identifying and resolving cross-browser UI issues 
• Strong proficiency with interfacing with services and APIs using REST and GraphQL
• Proficiency in the following web standards:
• HTML5, CSS3 (transitions, animations, behaviors)
• CSS Compilation (LESS, SASS)
• Digital media (HTML5 Audio & Video)
• Typescript (core and frameworks/libraries such as React, Next.js, and Storybook) 
• Proficiency in the following frameworks:
• React (web) / Next.js / Node.js
• Storybook
• Apollo GraphQL
• Jest
• Experience with working with CMS platforms such as:
• Sanity
• HyGraph
• Storyblok
• Webflow
• Contentful

Nice to Haves:

• Design background with an attention to visual details and aesthetics
• Full stack development experience across both frontend and backend applications
• Extensive experience creating dynamic animations and transitions using web technologies
• Experience with best practices in DesignOps
