- Manage design programs and operations that enable design teams to effectively and efficiently deliver into the product design life cycle.
- Identify and advance large operational initiatives that have multiple stakeholders, competing deadlines and many moving parts.
- Prioritize design program projects, assess tradeoffs and risk mitigation, propose clear solutions and drive strategic communications.
- Define and manage strategic initiatives that improve design team efficiency and impact.
- Manage and facilitate meetings to drive progress for business goals and objectives and establish clear next steps to facilitate progress.
- Proactively assess risk, raise flags and resolve issues before they become problems.
- Function as an operations expert and trusted partner and communicate persuasively to audiences to get buy-in and feedback.
- Proactively problem solve and distribute information effectively.
- Define and measure impact of programs and initiatives both qualitatively and quantitatively, continually refining and iterating to ensure usage and adoption.
- Source and manage operational budgets, vendor relationships and contracts.
- Scale programs and initiatives to support business objectives.
- Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted.
- Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field and 48 months of work experience in job offered or in a program or product management-related occupation.
- Experience must include 48 months of experience in the following:
- 1. Working directly with product designers, user experience researchers, and content designers
- 2. Performing product or program management independently and without oversight
- 3. Managing vendors and contractors
- 4. Using data to identify problems and communicate product or program management solutions
- 5. Analyzing complex, large-scale data sets and making data driven decisions
- 6. Gathering business or technical requirements across diverse problem spaces and driving long-term design program solutions
- 7. Experience with analytical tools and methodologies and design tools.
