CedarAbout the role
About Cedar:
Cedar is a full-service architecture design firm that combines technology with infill housing expertise. We built our company to break through the major barriers that block housing creation in the U.S. By tackling the issues of speed, cost, quality and predictability on the design side, we can unlock housing potential across the country. Our organization is comprised of both architects and software engineers. We collaborate to design beautiful, responsive housing projects more efficiently than traditional architectural practices.
Position: Design Intern (Summer 2025)
Cedar is on a mission to help urban housing developers in America’s growing cities acquire land and build more housing as quickly as possible. To support this mission, we’re looking for a talented Design Intern to join our team for a 10-12 week summer internship, to both contribute to our projects and to learn about architecture and technology.
In this role, you will get exposure to several architectural design projects in progress at Cedar and also be included in collaboration sessions with our software engineers. During this internship, you will see projects at all stages of design and development. From meeting with developers when they start to look at land, and helping them strategize land plans, to getting some time in the field looking at projects under construction, you’ll get glimpses into all of the facets that make projects happen.
