Role description:
Arcadis is seeking an experienced Design & Engineering Project Delivery Lead to oversee multidisciplinary project teams and ensure successful delivery of transportation projects across the East Region. This leadership role combines project oversight, strategic growth initiatives, and process innovation to drive excellence and client satisfaction.

Role accountabilities:
1. Project Delivery Oversight
- Provide leadership and delivery oversight for key projects across the East Region, ensuring quality, risk management, and client engagement.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Alternative Delivery (Alt D) in Tennessee and North Carolina, guiding teams and clients on best practices.
2. Growth Initiatives
- Expand the NCDOT project pipeline and continue our growth in the East Region, leveraging existing and future contracts to grow our portfolio.
- Collaborate with regional leadership to drive geographic expansion into Virginia and South Carolina.
3. Process Improvement & Digital Innovation
- Review and enhance design delivery and pre-let processes for improved efficiency and quality.
- Partner with our digital and automation team to develop custom tools (dashboards, tracking sheets) for monitoring high-risk projects and enabling data-driven solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent registration required
- Experience: Minimum 15 years in design and engineering project management with a proven track record in multidisciplinary projects
Key Attributes:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and client relationship abilities
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and forecasting
- Familiarity with digital tools and project management platforms (e.g., BIM, Primavera, MS Project)
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $180000 - $210000. Actual salaries will vary and
