Our Purpose:

Partner with Design Quality (or Design Assurance (DA)), R&D Engineers and Technicians in the development and verification of an exciting novel Medical Device, including single use devices and capital equipment. Employee will work with a high-performing cross-functional New Product Development team to ensure safety, efficacy, quality and compliance of the program device. This position will focus on development of a new product within the Interventional Cardiology Division through test method development, design verification, and risk management development.

Your Impact

Examples of meaningful work by DA Engineering Interns:

• Execution of design verification and validation testing and documentation.
• Review and/or creation of product specifications and design documentation.
• Help develop methods, and equipment, to be used in Design Verification Testing to satisfy design requirements.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science/Engineering. 
• A rising junior or rising senior (graduation dates between Dec 2025 - June 2027), graduating senior (May/June 2025 grad) continuing on to grad school, or current grad student.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse cross-functional teams.
• Ability and passion to learn new technologies and find new solutions.
• Lab experience from classes or research.
• General familiarity with the design verification process
