Design Admin Assistant – New Construction

Description

This is a full-time, direct placement role at Citadel Roofing and Solar.

Manager: Kenji Hosoda and Sarah Catalano 

Position Location: Sacramento or Vacaville 

Salary Range: $25 - $28/hr 

Responsibilities: 

• Review solar designs for accuracy (layouts, permit sets, master plans, single line diagrams, etc.) 

• Provide feedback to Design team when errors are caught 

• Update CRM when internal review is complete 

• Review site maps or plot plans against solar layouts to verify accuracy of North arrow 

• Compare solar layouts against master plans (when applicable) 

• Review plan check comments 

• Communicate with plan checkers and/or the jurisdiction as needed to clarify comments 

• Work with Design team to have solar plans revised according to plan check comments 

• Generate plan check response letters 

• Work with Permit and Operations teams to have revised plans and response letters resubmitted 

Requirements

• 2+ years of solar experience preferred 

• 1+ year of solar design administration experience preferred 

• General administrative background 

• CRM experience is a plus 

• Ability to work well with others in a team environment 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
