MANTECH seeks a motivated and customer-oriented Deputy Program Manager to support our team at Bolling AFB, Washington, D.C. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the Program Manager in day-to-day execution of program activities.

  • Establishing and maintaining an accurate cost accounting system and performing cost-benefit and economic evaluations of programs..

  • Managing hardware and software configurations and leading the technical management teams located at client sites.

  • Establishing and controlling the program product baseline.

  • Implementing and overseeing a Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) program.

  • Advising on work distribution, staffing levels, and skills alignment.

  • Recommending enhancements to organizational methods and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Similar Field.

  • Experience with Accounting, Budgeting, or Auditing in a government setting.

  • 7+ years of experience as a Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager or similar role on contracts of similar size and complexity.

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams, subcontractor and vendor relationships.

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with DOD and military/civilian personnel.

  • Willingness to travel within the geographic Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or DAWIA PM Level II certification.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI security clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

  • Must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.<
