Deputy Claims Executive, NY

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our P&I and Marine Claims team in New York as a Deputy Claims Executive. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global marine insurance provider, working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

As a Deputy Claims Executive, you will:

• Handle low to medium complexity claims independently.
• Support Claims Executives and Senior Claims Executives in managing more complex cases.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to team initiatives including knowledge-sharing, training, and process improvement.
• Assist in marketing Gard’s claims capabilities and supporting underwriting and loss prevention efforts.

Skills and Qualifications:

• University degree in shipping or insurance preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
