Deposit Resources Manager

Position Overview:

Responsible for managing the day-to-day operation and supervision of the Deposit Resources department.  Responsible for ensuring the ongoing development, monitoring, reviewing, and updating of all share and deposit related products, materials, policies, and procedures across all platforms, including digital and print for all Credit Union employees and the membership.  Responsible for ensuring the facilitation of communication of all share and deposit related subject matters to all Credit Union employees and the membership.

Responsibilities:

•  25% - Create, maintain, review, and coordinate updates for all share and deposit related content for both employees and the membership across all platforms, including manuals, QRGs, brochures, websites, training courses, digital workbooks, modules, letters, forms, Rules and Regulations, Fees and Terms, etc., as needed.  Includes coordinating the communication and distribution of statement messages and share and deposit account rate changes for SECU and all partner credit unions.  
• 25% - Create, review and effectively share information through memos, reports, procedures, and documents related to Deposits and Operations.  Includes managing the creation, review, and publication of the quarterly share and deposit newsletter from all employees.
• 15% - Work with subject-matter experts within all areas of the Credit Union, such as Deposits and Operations, Technical Writing, Marketing, Webcontent, etc. regarding share and deposit related content to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging, validity, and accuracy.
• 15% - Work with Deposit Compliance, Compliance, and Legal Services to manage risk and ensure compliance for all share and deposit related content.
• 10% - Identify and coordinate efforts to correct gaps and inconsistencies in share and deposit related content as policies and procedures are updated/changed.  Includes ensuring all share and deposit related content is correct in tone, style, clarity, grammar, and formatting and is presented in the clearest way to ensure reader comprehension.
• 10% - Work with employees regarding questions concerning policies, products, and procedures.  Includes assisting with research for member complaints regarding share and deposit related issues and assisting with the written or verbal response.

Required Education:

HS Diploma or GED

Desired Education:

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Journalism, English or other related field.

Required Relevant Experience:

3 years

Desired Relevant Experience:

5 years

Required Knowledge, Abilities, Skills:

• Must have at least 3 years of SECU experience with at least two years in an area of Deposits and Operations
• Must have extensive knowledge and understanding of the Credit Union, its operations, and financial services offered, including SECU policies and procedures
• Must be able to coordinate and collaborate with team members in both on-site and remote work settings
• Must be proficient with the suite of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Must have strong organization and analytical skills
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to speak, write, and read English fluently
   

Desired Knowledge, Abilities, Skills:

• Prior supervisory or management experience
• Prior experience in SECU branch/MSS network
• Knowledge for creating forms and VBA
• NAFCU compliance certification
