Dental Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team and provide high-quality care to our patients. The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, take and develop dental x-rays, prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, and educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a dental assistant program or on-the-job training.
- X-ray certification preferred.
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- CPR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
- Prepare and develop dental x-rays.
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Schedule patient appointments.
- Perform office tasks as needed to help maintain efficient and organized operations.
