We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Manager, Crop Protection (Demand Manager). The IBP Manager is responsible for managing demand for all products in the portfolio. You are strategic but also able to support and take action to maintain the integrity of our demand planning process. You are responsible for ensuring the plan reflects the input of various levels of cross-functional leaders such that there is confidence we can deliver it. The plan will be used to drive production plans and set financial expectations across the product segments you support. You will collaborate with marketing, sales, customer service, supply chain, and finance to facilitate the planning process. This is not a supervisory role. The role reports directly to the Integrated Business Planning Leader for North America Crop Protection.
What You'll Do:
- Ensure stakeholders develop, document, update and challenge the factors and assumptions supporting the demand plan.
- Prepare and facilitate the monthly demand review meetings focused on delivering an accurate long-term demand forecast (3-18 months horizon), including analysis of major deviations from prior demand plans.
- Develop, maintain and utilize forecasting and communication tools to accomplish tasks related to management of demand for your products and portfolios (e.g. forecast accuracy metrics, demand dashboards).
- Monitor performance to the monthly, quarterly and annual demand plans.
- Measure and report actual vs. planned performance and bias overall by market segment, product family and mix.
- Provide training to relevant stakeholders in all aspects of demand management and forecasting. Use and maintain the IBP tool and ensure discipline of use by stakeholders.
- Act as the focal point for supply planning and assist in the resolution of issues related to supply and demand imbalances, product allocation and deviations from planned inventory levels.
- Participate in the development of “what if” scenarios to resolve supply and demand imbalances.
- Lead the sales and operations execution meeting (S&OE) focused on reviewing open orders to ensure short term estimates are met.
- Lead and participate in project teams focused on delivering improvements in business operations
- Provide quantitative expertise that can be used to analyze complex data while succinctly communicating key outcomes and necessary decisions to colleagues at various levels of the organization.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Proficient in the advanced use of Excel functions and capabilities for data analysis
- Leader with superior analytical skills, exceptional oral and written communication skills and who can see the “big picture” while still paying attention to detail.
- Possesses the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Capable of presenting forecasts to all levels of management with supporting analysis and assumptions.
