The demand manager is responsible for executing NA monthly demand planning cycle and leading the regional demand review governance to validate the demand consensus and present actionable insights. Reporting to NA Demand Planning & SC KAM Lead, the demand manager will drive the deployment of advanced demand planning technologies by leveraging AI/ML forecast capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Demand reporting: Coordinate consolidation & preparation for the demand reviews: demand variation gaps, demand metrics, follow up of business context in NA region as well as insights from other regions

• Demand Reviews:  Lead NA Regional Demand Reviews with Sales, Platform, Finance and Supply Chain to validate NA region forecast including gap assessment and risk and opportunity reviews.  

• Metrics monitoring: monthly monitoring and root cause analysis of forecast accuracy

• Demand planning: Lead the demand planning activities for one or several product categories, including market data analysis, business insights follow up, and AI/ML forecast adoption.

• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with data analytics and modeling team to drive automations and improvements of demand intake, reporting and forecast modeling process.

• NA Monthly Planning: Coordinate with internal collaborators to implement NA monthly demand planning cycle.

• Data consistency checks: Analyzing and designing alerts to check data consistency (master data, past sales, forecasts…)

Education and Experience

• BS/BA in Engineering or Business Administration with a Minor or solid background in a relevant Data/Analytics field

• Minimum 5yrs experience in demand planning or other related roles in supply chain/sales or business analytics

• Experience driving demand review and participation in an IBP cycle

• Knowledge in leading demand planning and end-to-end supply chain practices

Knowledge and Skills

• PowerBi basic knowledge

• Advance knowledge of MS Excel/Access

• Any programming skills

• Analytical skills and data driven approach is a key element

• Soft skills: teamwork, communication, resilience, capability to adapt to different profiles
