About the role

Resource Innovations is seeking a Delivery Services Principal to join our growing Solution Delivery team in the Pacific Northwest. The ideal candidate will reside in Portland, Oregon.  As a Delivery Services Principal with Resource Innovations, you will be primarily responsible for leading the management multiple Energy Efficiency and Transportation Electrification programs in Oregon and Washington to ensure we meet and exceed our client’s expectations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of programs in multiple states for several clients. This may include directly supervising an internal team, tracking and ensuring contractual deliverables are met; identifying and implementing program efficiencies and innovations; and working cross collaboratively with internal teams and sub-contractors.  This highly visible position will require strong project management and people skills to drive program objectives and initiatives forward.

This highly visible role is responsible for resource planning, budgeting, forecasting, and driving both innovation and continuous improvement in program delivery. The Delivery Services Principal will build upon and enhance successful programs, identify opportunities for strategic growth, and develop tailored approaches that help our clients achieve and exceed their goals. This position requires exceptional relationship-building skills, strategic vision, and the ability to foster a culture centered on client success and measurable impact.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead program implementation teams strategies to achieve project goals
  • Serve as primary point of contact for several clients
  • Responsible for leading overall program service and software deliverables, schedules, milestones, reporting, and invoicing
  • Lead problem resolution activities, including working with colleagues and subcontractors to resolve issues and escalate concerns to managers as needed
  • Analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions to achieve program goals
  • Identify and implement opportunities to optimize program tools and processes
  • Forecast annual and monthly program level costs (i.e., staff hours and costs, subcontractor costs, and non-labor costs), revenue and margins and make adjustments based on actual performance
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and RI business needs
  • Lead program meetings with clients, internal team members and subcontractors
  • Lead and strengthen strategic client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor who proactively identifies opportunities to build on existing successes and advance client objectives.
  • Translate client priorities into actionable delivery plans, ensuring programs are innovative, high-quality, and impactful.
  • Promptly address and resolve client concerns, reinforcing confidence and long-term collaboration.
  • Ensure quality of services, contract compliance, and achievement of performance metrics, while meeting or exceeding delivery schedules for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Maintain financial accountability for assigned projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, revenue targets, and profitability goals.
  • Coordinate with internal support teams and cross functional teams including Software, Finance and Accounting, Engineering, Marketing and Client Services (i.e., customer service, application processing and rebate fulfillment).
  • Collaborate with Business Development and other practice areas to identify and capture new opportunities in alignment with client strategies.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and strategic insights to support corporate and division planning.
  • Mentor and develop staff with a focus on enhancing client engagement skills, technical expertise, and innovative problem-solving.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

    • A minimum education of bachelor’s degree in business or other degree
    • 5+ years of Program or Project management experience
    • 7+ years of energy efficiency, transportation electrification, or related experience
    • Previous leadership and team management/supervisor experience
    • Previous experience serving as a client’s primary point of contact
