Purpose and Scope:
As a Delivery Manager, you will bring guidance, process, communication, and focus to your teams, helping them plan and deliver high quality work smoothly and on time. DMs partner with program leads, technical leads, product, and HCD to ensure the team is focusing on and successfully shipping work that delivers the highest value to our customers. DMs communicate with stakeholders, unblock or escalate impediments, and help manage risks. They also leverage agile principles, emotional intelligence, and a get-things-done mindset to coach teams to ever higher performance.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for on-time and high-quality delivery of development work from inception to completion ensuring that your team can deliver work efficiently and without requiring heroics.
- Leads the collaborative, dynamic planning processes for sprints, PIs, and more, so teams can deliver work efficiently, predictably, and without requiring heroics.
- Partners with team leads to determine project objectives, and supports the development of product roadmaps, backlogs, and measurable success criteria.
- Implements processes within and across teams to position teams for success. These processes help teams easily track work, ensure strong communication within and across teams, and guarantee that team members are focused on the right things at the right time.
- Facilitate scrum ceremonies and agile practices to ensure effectiveness of the team in delivering value to client.
- Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive progress towards goals.
- Manages client expectations and communications, so client is aware of project progress, risks, blockers, and needs from the client.
- Closely track project work, and manage dependencies, risks, and issues, providing mitigation strategies and promptly resolving blockers, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, including coaching in Agile methodologies, healthy team relationships, and constructive disagreement.
- Partner with team to continuously improve project delivery processes and methodologies.
- Track and leverage metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 4-7 years' experience as delivery manager, scrum master, or equivalent role managing scrum teams.
- 1+ year experience working with a SAFe team
- Demonstrated grasp of how to scale Lean and Agile practices, including the challenges associated with facilitating and continuously aligning a large development program.
