- PTO and moreJob Summary: Assists the delivery driver with deliveries and in-home installation. Pull, prep, and assemble high-end furniture. Help in the warehouse when or as needed. This is a full-time position with a M-F workweek and may include holidays.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist the delivery driver with in-home deliveries
- Pull merchandise according to paperwork
- Prep and assemble furniture and accessories in a customer’s home
- Receive and process products and rack in the correct warehouse location
- Operate forklift, dolly, pallet jack and reach using all safety equipment
- Pull transfers for all store and warehouse locations to load
- Loading and unloading of trucks and containers
- Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures and assist driver by spotting during back-ups and tight spaces
- Learn and use company software to update all transfers, receiving and inventory moves
- Participate in keeping the warehouse and company vehicles clean, including bathrooms
- Permanent or temporary duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- White Glove customer service mindset and communication proficiency
- Strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment, plus scanning and computer equipment
- Reliable and punctual team player with a ‘can do’ attitude
- 1-year warehouse and furniture delivery experience preferred
- High School education or equivalent
- Professional appearance is a must
