This position is responsible for maintaining product flow and relieving team members on line for breaks and filling in during labor shortages while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Hours: 8:00 a.m. until the job is complete. Typically, this position averages 40 hours a week.
The work schedule is subject to change based on production needs.
Position Summary:
- This position is a backup for the egg room and egg pack department. They are responsible for traying and setting eggs and making sure that the egg room is kept up.
- This position is responsible for maintaining product flow and relieving team members on line for breaks and filling in during labor shortages while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Egg Room Lead/Shipping Clerk as needed. (30%)
- Assist Egg Trayer with placing hatching eggs in properly labeled buggies & place trayed eggs into the setters. (25%)
- Assist Egg Packer with packing eggs into cases. (25%)
- Clean and sanitize the egg room as well as other hatchery equipment (egg flats/trays, farm racks & setter buggies) using a high-pressure and regular water hose. (10%)
- Assist egg truck driver during pickups and deliveries, operate a high-pressure and regular water hose, maintain foot pans and hand sanitizer, pack export eggs into cases, assist with Sanitation and Chick Processing departments as needed, monitor and record temperatures in the hatchers and setters, and maintain a clean and organized work area. (10%)
Biosecurity/Animal Welfare Requirements:
- The jobsite is a biosecure environment that requires showering, changing clothing, and footwear before entering the facility. Appropriate clothing and footwear are provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry and body piercings covered by appropriate clothing. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.). Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines.
