Job Description
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Compensation Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive compensation analysis, administration, and support to ensure our company's compensation programs remain competitive. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining accurate compensation data, participating in market surveys, and assisting in various compensation planning activities.
Job Responsibilities
- Participate in annual surveys and update market composite data to ensure accurate benchmarking of our compensation programs
- Maintain and audit all compensation-related data within our Ceridian Dayforce system
- Lead job classification and benchmarking activities to ensure proper alignment with industry standards
- Provide ad-hoc job analysis support to HRBPs, Recruiters, and Managers for new job requests and hiring actions
- Design and prepare monthly reports, reviews, and audits of salary actions
- Assist in various compensation programs and planning, including merit increases, COLAs, market-based adjustments, and bonus plans
- Support annual pay equity analysis to ensure fair and equitable compensation practices
- Aid in compensation-related systems implementations to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with regional HR and finance teams to ensure seamless coordination of compensation initiatives
- Advises management on applicable compensation policies and standard operating procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of combined compensation and systems experience
- Proven knowledge or experience in market survey participation
- Strong understanding of job classification principles and practices
- Experience with compensation platform administration, such as PayScale or Salary.com
- Experience with compensation related systems implementations highly desired
- Ability to evaluate current wage and salary rates and recommend appropriate actions
- Familiarity with job classification analysis, including FLSA compliance
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software (MS Excel) and presentation tools (MS PowerPoint)
- Skilled in HR systems and data analysis
- Familiarity with Power BI is a plus
- Ability to design and deliver effective compensation-related communications
