POSITION SUMMARY (Basic purpose or primary function of job)
The Mission Delivery Manager supports the Vice President of Mission Delivery and the Mission Delivery Team by overseeing daily operations, managing grants, foundations, and sponsors, handling community relations, and coordinating programs and events. This role also involves providing administrative assistance and contributing to the execution of mission delivery strategies and initiatives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Principal responsibilities or job duties)
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Organizing virtual and in-person external events and meetings related to mission delivery.
- Managing, coordinating, and processing receipts for reimbursement, contracts, and invoices.
- Coordinating travel arrangements for mission delivery team members, presenters, and volunteers.
- Handling the administrative aspects of mission delivery grants and contracts, including tracking necessary paperwork and deliverables.
- Coordinating department meetings and organization-wide mission delivery presentations, including presentation development and delivery. Meetings include but are not limited to, All Staff Meetings, team and interdepartmental meetings, and focus days.
- Organizing and overseeing mission delivery content sites, such as SharePoint.
- Managing databases utilized by the mission delivery team.
- Gathering and inputting patient data for mission delivery initiatives, such as impact surveys.
- Assisting in managing community relationships.
- Serving as the Mission Delivery team lead for internal systems, including administrative and training responsibilities for systems like Microsoft 365, Workamajig, Dynamics 365, Samanage, and other relevant systems.
- Performing any other assigned duties.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a health-related field or a combination of education and progressive experience.
- 3+ years of experience in program delivery, events planning & management, and community relationship management. Working with arthritis patients and healthcare providers is considered a plus.
- Exemplary interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Can successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to timelines, a high level of detail, and the ability to develop and manage accurate records.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheets (including pivot tables), and other programs in the MS 360 suite.
- Occasional travel is required.
