Peraton is seeking a Security Operations Administrator to perform personnel and physical security administration tasks. This onsite work location for this position is in Chantilly, VA with possible work in Herndon, VA.

 

This position supports the proposal security processes in a SCIF. Specific responsibilities include:

• Conducting security briefings for those participating in proposal operations.
• Developing and implementing security procedures and processes for classified proposal centers.
• Overseeing security operations for classified proposal centers, remedying breeches in security protocols.
• Providing access control to the proposal centers, assigning badges and alarm controls.
• Coordinating data transfer operations to support timely proposal development.
• Performing security administrative support for visitor requests.
• Vetting access of proposal participants to determine eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Performing various data entry in support of the above tasks.
• Interfacing with various levels of management, providing high level of customer service.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain CI poly.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Security Administrator, CPSO or FSO with a BA, 3+ years of experience with a Masters. 
• 9+ years of experience in lieu of degree. 
• Broad knowledge of applicable security regulations and policies.
• Must be detail oriented.  
• Ability to work independently, but also be a team player, and be proactive.
• Experience with DISS and Scattered Castles.
• Familiarity with SIMS (or similar database) highly desired.
• Experience with Lenel (or other access control system).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Available to work flexible hours (including some weekends).

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
