Right now, EPOS is looking for an Acoustic Lead Engineer that will be part of our Audio Solutions team holding in-house competence within acoustics, signal processing, audio system design and sound quality evaluation.
You will report to our Head of Audio Engineering, Kim Larsen, that is looking forward to welcoming you:

Our future Acoustic Lead Engineer
You thrive in a role, where you play an essential part in setting the direction for our acoustic concepts and audio architecture. Going forward we need you to be part of our journey developing new acoustic concepts for next generation in-ear, on-ear and over-ear headsets including state of the art microphone acoustics for voice pick-up and loudspeaker sound reproduction both for mainly enterprise product segments.
All in all, you love to lead acoustic activities in front-loading concept-projects and at the same time you are motivated by developing new acoustic concepts and demonstrate their potential to end-users as part of concept development for new projects. In conclusion - We need you to take our Audio Engineering competence within Acoustic Design to the next level!
Tasks you will work with:
- Define needed acoustic concepts and complete audio concepts in projects.
- Work with acoustic microphone and speaker concepts for headset devices.
- Take the lead on ensuring our acoustic competence is developed to new heights.
The ideal candidate brings the following qualifications:
- Loves great sound.
- Has an acoustical engineering background with 5+ years of experience.
- Thrives with developing acoustic concepts and demonstrating them to various stakeholders.
- Has experience in leading acoustic activities in cross-functional projects.
- Motivated by developing the best possible solutions.
- Are familiar in communicating acoustic requirements to and between different design teams, including signal-processing-engineers, mechanical engineers, process engineers etc.
