WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Our Social Impact Solutions Group is dedicated to dramatically improving learning and life outcomes for all children. We believe that great public schools and high-quality education have the potential to be life-changing, especially for students in underserved communities. We partner with leaders in government, philanthropy, and other education organizations and draw on our experience in the education space to solve complex problems facing public schools and communities. We deliver customized services and products - including data, finance, and instructional tools - from initial design through the last step of execution.
Directors play important roles on our projects: leading the planning, execution and delivery of a diverse array of projects from start to finish. Directors are senior leaders on the team who are trusted advisors and partners to our clients.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee planning, execution and delivery of a diverse array of projects in dynamic environments
- Serve as senior leader and primary client point of contact on projects, building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for deeper partnerships
- Incorporate input from multiple stakeholders to mobilize groups toward common and ambitious goals
- Work effectively with multiple groups of partners to deliver high quality products
- Self-motivate and demonstrate capacity to prioritize, ensuring time is spent on highest leverage actions
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to generate meaningful insights
- Communicate efficiently: break down large and complex analyses into actionable recommendations while reserving the ability to drill deeper as needed
- Manage Project Managers and Consultants: lead their contribution to projects and ensure they develop new skills and professional capacities
- Provide analytical and research support for the Compensation and Classification solution on projects, including classification reviews, position benchmarking, market analyses, compensation program updates, benefits reviews, job description creation, and performance evaluation system studies.
- Execute and support the collection, compilation, and interpretation of data from multiple sources and in various formats.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret data trends or patterns in complex sets of data; prepare clear and meaningful analyses to support recommendations.
- Create and administer online surveys and compile, analyze, and interpret results.
- Conduct and analyze qualitative data (e.g., focus groups and interviews) and quantitative data (e.g., surveys, databases, market reports).
- Prepare, communicate, and present results to a variety of audiences.
- Support the Consultant in quality assurance and adherence to deliverable specifications.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic background
- Ten (10) or more years of consulting experience or equivalent education/public-sector experience
