Security Officer - 2nd Shift

Primary Responsibilities

 

• Responsible for providing physical security and crime suppression support to the company through the use of patrols, surveillance, alarm monitoring, reporting, information processing and frequent building access facilitation.
• Enforce company safety/security rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
• Perform and document safety equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Operate and monitor computer based fire/security alarm system, radio and telephone communications systems.
• When notified by these systems, make required notifications for 911 emergency service, severe weather, or other emergencies.
• Process and update security information either in the form of paperwork of input data into database.
• Operate switchboard after normal working hours and communicate with company employees, outside callers, vendors, guests, customers, etc.

 

 

Qualifications

 

• 0-4 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Must have valid driving privileges
• Shift is 4:00 PM until 12:00 AM
• Must be able to work overtime as required as well as weekends and holidays
