Corporate Events Manager

Job Summary 

This position is responsible for event management for the Combined Corporate Events team with regards to logistics and coordination of North American Combined and/or Chubb Workplace Benefits events.  This role will support the Corporate Events Team with meeting logistics and vendor relationships, as well as budget planning and design.

Responsibilities include logistics for full cycle event planning from pre-planning through implementation and close out of events.

 

Responsibilities 

• Logistics And Design Of Programs Including But Not Limited To Registration, Award Ceremonies, Dinner Programs, Maintaining Guest Room and Board List, Arrival And Departure List, And any Collateral and communications
• Ensure All Events Are “On Brand” And Comply With Combined’s Brand Standards
• Manage Logistics Which Includes Our Onsite Contacts, Rooming List Needs, Setup For Meeting Room, AV Needs And Selected Food/Beverages With Sales Partners
• Ability To Interface And Lead Discussions And Communications With Various Levels Of Internal Clients From The C-Level Down
• Helps To Coordinate with Conference Hotel Staff From First Contact Through Post-Conference Follow-Up Including Contracts, Room Scheduling, Banquets, Audiovisual Equipment, And Billing
• Handles Onsite Logistics For Events Including Effectively Conveying Information, Developing, And Coordinating With Conference Team And Vendors
• Work With Travel Partner To Create Rsvp And Travel Arrangement Site For Attendees
• Assist With Travel Vendors Deposit/Final Payments, Cancellations, And Invoice Reconciliation
• Design Communications And Handle Customer Support For Attendees During Event Cycle

 

Skills

• Project Management skills/organizational abilities
• Written Communication skills
• Event planning experience
• MS Suite: Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook
• Branding/graphics experience
• C-Suite Assistance
• Skillset must include speed and accuracy of organization and managing multiple events at once.
• Hospitality skills are essential to the success of this role.

 

Education and Experience 

• 3-5 Years experience in Event Planning or other
• Must be able to travel (domestic and international)
