The Licensed Behavioral Health Professional (LBHP) will assist the administrative staff in maintaining the guidelines of the program policies and procedures for client treatment.  He/she will provide and maintain quality helping services to clients, and will assist clients in their attempt to reach individual treatment goals.

Qualifications


Required Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or Sociology required; PhD preferred
  • Licensure in counseling required; Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). 
  • 2 or more years of experience with Sexual Assault cases

 

General Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of Mental Health, Domestic Violence, Co-Occurring Disorders, or Crisis Intervention cases
  • Ability to provide Individual, Group, and Family Counseling
  • Ability to work with adults who have been victims of sexual assault and/or domestic violence
  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality at all times
  • Must be CPR certified or within 90 days
  • Must be HIPAA and Privacy Act trained
  • Must be flexible in nature and able to work as part of a team
  • Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance that positively represents the Nation
  • Requires the ability to work independently and exhibit problem solving skills which remain inside the values and policies of the organization.
  • Requires a high level of personal integrity and ethics
  • Requires strong patient chart documentation skills
  • Requires the ability to prioritize and multitask independently
  • Requires familiarity with planning concepts and processes including but not limited to program planning
  • Requires willingness and ability to learn new skills, including travel to conferences and training sessions as required by the grant
  • Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Requires good interpersonal communication and team work skills
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing
  • Must have a clean driving record – may be required to drive GSA or tribal vehicles
