Job Summary
Responsible for managing the pricing, packaging and documenting CB Masergy new products ideas and conducts user need analyses for ancillary products so that subscriber and financial objectives are achieved. Manages ongoing product management of new and existing products. Conducts the budgeting, planning, analysis and monitoring required to ensure unit and financial targets are met for assigned products. This job is an individual contributor role that does not have direct responsibility for supervision or performance management of staff.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Develop Product Requirement Documents with prioritized features and corresponding justification are delivered throughout for the product being developed (end to end product development skills)
- Become an expert with respect to the competition, assigned products and technologies, and company interworking. Special emphasis on UCaaS, Contact Center, Collaboration and associated cloud services.
- Manage data files and databases compiling metrics on company products and services as well as competitors and the marketplace.
- Internalizes and represents the Voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle.
- Performs competitive analysis and conducts market research.
- Teams with product development to deliver high quality products on time.
- Participates in the strategic planning for enhancements to product content, pricing, packaging and features.
- Assists in budgeting and variance analysis of product's unit and financial performance, with goal of identifying opportunities and risks. Concisely communicate trends, opportunities and risks, develop and defend POV for product features/benefits.
- Conducts feasibility assessments, capability gap analysis (i.e., what is wanted vs. what is attainable).
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Experience
- Be the point person for your product area to leadership and across the organization
- Dive into competitive research and understand the competitive landscape of telephony applications, integrations, contact center, Webex, and Microsoft Teams
- Develop business plans for product offerings including market analysis, financial models, and pricing proposals
- Define new product requirements and enhancements, with clear value proposition for customers
- Translate product capabilities into simple, compelling messages that resonate with customers
- Build impactful product marketing content and collateral such as presentations, blogs, and videos
- Partner with the broader marketing and sales team to amplify product messaging and drive market success
- Lead sales enablement activities for the field, partners, and customers
- Manage entire product lifecycle, including product launches and transitions
- Understand technical dependencies for the products you lead and bring disparate stakeholders together
- Use data when confronted by ambiguity. Identify and analyze KPI's to identify, size and prioritize areas for improvement. Develop regular reporting as needed.
