Senior Financial Analyst for Corporate Advisory

Then you may be the person we are searching for. </span></p> <p><span><strong>About the team</strong></span></p> <p><span>Corporate Advisory is part of Danske Bank’s Business Customers (BC) division, and services the bank’s medium-large corporate customers. In Corporate Advisory, we work as a strategic and analytical partner for our largest business customers in Finland and in the Nordics. </span><span>The role of Corporate Advisory is to support customers with a range of financial and strategic advisory services, including debt capacity, funding strategy, IR/FX risk advisory, value creation initiatives, preparation for changes in ownership, and various types of themed insights.</span></p> <p><span>Our Finnish team currently consists of four colleagues, who are now looking for a new analyst to join us in Helsinki. </span><span>We play an important part in building relationships and creating value between the bank and our customers. Additionally, our team collaborates closely with corresponding teams in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, working in tandem with the Relationship Managers, specialist sales teams, Corporate Finance, and other relevant departments.</span></p> <p><span><strong>What we offer</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>A unique opportunity to advise our priority customers and support key decision-makers and/or owners of these businesses with value-adding financial and strategic insights</span></li> <li><span>You will be assigned the responsibility to create your own analysis and customer presentations building on the insights, expertise and experience in the bank, and present and discuss these directly with the clients</span></li> <li><span>Your primary tasks will be to perform financial analysis to e.g., assess debt capacity and cash flow at risk as well as support customers with acquisition advisory (target screening, synergy assessment, etc.) and how to optimise company value</span></li> <li><span>You will be exposed to working on many different types of projects with varying degrees of complexity, allowing you the opportunity to develop and strengthen your analytical capabilities and strategic mindset</span></li> </ul> <p><span>As a financial analyst, you will deepen your understanding of the bank and our extensive portfolio of products while broadening your knowledge across the diverse sectors our customers operate in. </span><span>You will be an integral part of a skilled and experienced team that values mutual support, feedback, and knowledge sharing to collectively elevate our competencies.</span></p> <p><span><strong>What we are looking for</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>You have advanced analytical and problem-solving skills and enjoy handling complex problems while presenting them in ways that are easy to understand</span></li> <li><span>You are a driven and positive individual who works well in teams but also individually</span></li> <li><span>You find it natural to both receive and give feedback to elevate yourself and others</span></li> <li><span>You have a great understanding of financial analysis and a curiosity to understand new industries and business models</span></li> <li><span>You likely have a M.Sc. degree, and you have experience from transaction focused advisory, strategy consulting or other financial job roles</span></li> <li><span>You have good communication and presentation skills in both written and verbal form</span></li> <li><span>You are an expert user of the Microsoft Office package, in particular Excel and PowerPoint</span></li> <li><span>You are proficient in spoken and written Finnish and English</span></li> </ul> <p><span><strong>Is This Your Next Career Move?</strong></span></p> <p><span>Great!
