What We’re Looking For:
An analytically minded individual with strong business acumen that can synthesize data into insights and communicate the insights concisely. These insights are used to inform executives and employees on how ABO and Customer behaviors are driving the sales performance of our business, and influence decisions around our strategic imperatives. The individual in this role will contribute to supporting Financial decisions of the company and driving inputs into C-suite, Marketing, and Sales processes.
As a Lead KPI Analyst, you will report into the Director of Macro Forecasting and ABO Experience Analytics. You will be responsible for the development and reporting around Enterprise KPI performance, analytics supporting the causation of any KPI movements, and continuous improvements around establishing KPI targets and processes. In addition, you will be responsible for developing Exec-level presentations to convey insights developed with the Data, Analytics, and Insights team.
In this role you will have significant opportunity to interact and influence Global leaders by sharing the insights developed through analytical study. You will leverage your expertise to view trends (Internal and external), provide global perspectives on ABO and Customer behaviors, and create insights on major strategic activities to deliver recommendations on key opportunities to grow topline sales. Your ability to create concise, effective messages and visualizations, with an ability to influence decision-making will be highly valued. A high degree of collaboration between local and global teams will result in delivering deep insights and drivers for Market Leadership and HQ functional areas.
This is a hybrid role that will follow company-wide guidelines on in-office policies, which currently resides at 2 in-office collaboration days (Tues/Weds). All other days, there is an option to be in-office or work from home. This is subject to change based on company policies.
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years experience within Analytics, Planning and Analysis, or related field
- Quantitative analysis skills, with the ability to research and synthesize information into meaningful interpretations
- Effective communication skills, with experience communicating analytics into insight for senior-level executives
- Experienced discipline regarding accuracy and timeliness of deliverables (detail oriented)
- BS Degree in Math, Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain or related field
Skills to be successful in the role:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Prior exposure to Financial Planning and Analysis, Supply Chain, Audit, and/or Analytics is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize and manage deliverables with competing deadlines
- Natural Curiosity, that has you seeking to explore deeper answers to key questions
- A demonstrated ability to build trusted and effective relationships
What’s special about this team:
The Macro Forecasting Team is responsible for providing advanced analytics and analytics strategy to the Amway organization. This collaborative team provides the Enterprise with Macro Forecasts, handles the creation and development of KPI’s, and focuses on developing and supporting the execution of analytical strategies across the globe. As a KPI Analyst on the Macro Team, you will collaborate with partners across the organization (including Finance, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and affiliates globally) to gather and interpret data, that will result in key business changes driving investment decisions and enterprise growth.
