CVR Senior Director Research Strategy 

 

The CVR Senior Director Research Strategy will strategically lead the CVR research planning relative to HEOR, RWE, and field medical market access in close collaboration with US Medical Affairs and the CVR Medical Team.  The successful candidate will have extensive experience in setting research strategies to support the medical brand objectives and will work across all aspects of evidence generation: observational studies using large datasets, phase IV studies, implementation science, and medical market access studies and analyses. He/she will demonstrate excellent communication skills and should ideally have an established network of evidence generation collaborators and contacts connected to the US clinical community.

 

The Senior Director will be responsible for leading the development of the US research strategy for CVR, working in close collaboration with cross-functional team members to ensure efficient and successful achievement of medical objectives. This will include the conduct of outcomes research studies in close collaboration with other functional areas in U.S. Medical Affairs, U.S. Market Access, Global Integrated Evidence Generation, Global Market Access, and more. The Senior Director will also be responsible for advising on the conduct and design of all external collaborative studies conducted with key customers, academics, and/or institutions. The Senior Director will be responsible for leading all outcomes research strategic planning across CVR, contributing outcomes research expertise and assisting in managing/developing data generation colleagues.

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, CVR Senior Director Research Strategy, are to

 

• Data Generation strategic planning for CVR;
• Data Generation leadership to key internal cross-functional TA leadership teams;
• Data Generation activities involved in developing outcomes-based strategies and tactics aligned with medical and commercial plans;
• Data Generation research strategy including development of study design & conduct, identification of data source, and publication plan;
• Responsible for the strategic planning for all CVR pharma products in order to build and execute research projects in support of documenting an economic value story for these products. This research supports the economic argument around the addition of Bayer products to formularies across the US healthcare industry which is critical to the success of products in the US;
• Assist in the development of research budgets and assist in management of budgeted funds in conjunction with VP, CVR and extended team;
• Ensure execution of all research studies in compliance with Bayer SOPs and all other compliance measures;
• Ensure execution of all research studies according to defined study timelines as well as budgets;
• Monitor relevant Data Generation related US policy relevant to TA;
• Participate in business planning and annual budgeting process;
• Jointly develop and manage research partnerships with academia, thought leaders, managed care and other customers, and contract research organizations;
• Attend and present at professional meetings.
