Quality Inspector (1895)

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all products and materials meet the company's quality standards. This role involves inspecting and testing materials, products, and production processes to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and Test Products: Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Read Blueprints and Specifications: Review blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to understand the quality requirements for products and materials.
• Identify Defects: Detect and report any defects or deviations from specifications, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain Records: Keep detailed records of inspections, tests, and other quality control activities.
• Collaborate with Production Team: Work closely with the production team to address quality issues and implement improvements.
• Use Measuring Tools: Utilize various measuring tools and equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges, to perform inspections.
• Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all products and processes comply with company and industry standards.

• Experience: Previous experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in quality control are a plus.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with quality control standards and testing methodologies.
• Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
