Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 5 years flight experience as a professional pilot in aviation industry. 1500 hours total flight time, or 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command of turbine powered aircraft. Position Purpose:

Domestic Captain within Gulfstream Flight Operations

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

1. Operate Gulfstream aircraft in support of corporate transport, Airborne Product Support, Gulfstream maintenance, customer accommodation, and other functions as required.
2. Assist PIC in support of Customer Accommodation operations in accordance with GAC Flight Operations FOM/SOP .
3. Manage and execute all assigned ancillary responsibilities .
4. Adhere to Gulfstream corporate policies and the department's Flight Operations Manual and SOPs .
5. Effectively coordinate aircraft repair as needed with Corporate Maintenance and Technical Operations .

Additional Functions:

1. Assist Gulfstream Dispatch with planning and coordination of flight activities .
2. Closely manage the safe and effective execution of any assigned flight activity .
3. Strive to promote a positive brand image for Gulfstream and General Dynamics .
4. Conduct presentations within Gulfstream Flight Operations .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

1. FAA Airline Trasport Pilot License (ATP/ATPL), or ability to attain ATP/ATPL.
2. First class FAA Medical Certificate Required.
3. FAA Flight instructor Certificate (Desired).
