Family Child Care Home Visitor (Full-Time Hourly)

Under supervision of the Family Child Care Coordinator, the Family Childcare Home Visitor develops, organizes and implements a high quality Family Child Care network within the South Central Massachusetts area to serve child care clients as part of the YMCA of Central Massachusetts associate, which includes the Tri Community Branch YMCA in Southbridge, Massachusetts. 

Job Duties:

• Completes twice monthly visits to home in the Family Child Care educator programs to check up on the home and children 
• Makes appropriate referrals to vouchers and income-eligible clients 
• Builds a network of child care providers to add to the YMCA system
• Maintains records of all children in the program and completes a log of daily events
• Assists family child care educators with curriculum development, assessments, and progress reports
• Maintains a monthly individual visit log outlining topics discussed and any concerns FCC Educators may have regarding children in their care 
• In conjunction with the Intake Coordinator, provides written and oral translations as needed.
• Stay up to date with EEC regarding Family Child Care regulations
• Organizes and maintains all provider binders with up to date information
• Attends staff trainings, meeting and special events

Qualifications:

• Must hold Lead Preschool or Infant/Toddler teacher certification 
• Must hold valid driver's license and have reliable transportation
• Experience as an Early Childhood Educator 
• Knowledge of EEC/QRIS regulations and policies 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
• Able to relate effectively to diverse populations from all social and economic segments of the community 

Schedule: Monday thru Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

Job Type: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

Pay: $24.00 per hour
