Gundersen Health System, becoming Emplify Health, is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) retail Pharmacy Technician based out of and primarily working at our Winona Campus pharmacy.

This position will require floating to La Crosse/Onalaska/Holmen/West Salem pharmacy locations based on workload and volume within the Winona Campus pharmacy as we are planning for future growth.

What you’ll do:

• Enjoy flexible scheduling options for day and evening shifts with rotating weekends

• Enter prescription data, calculate dispensing quantities, prepare medication labels and fill prescriptions 

• Compound non-sterile products and manage inventory needs

• Prepare prescriptions for delivery or shipment

• Answer the telephone and respond to patient inquiries

• Assist with staffing at other Gundersen pharmacy locations as needed

What you’ll get:

• Hourly wage: $18.31-$26.03 based on experience, plus extra for evening, weekend and holiday shifts!

• Reimbursed for millage for travel to any other pharmacy locations besides Winona Campus Pharmacy; all travel time to other pharmacy locations will be considered travel & will be compensated.

What you’ll need:

• High school diploma or equivalency

• Registered in Minnesota as a pharmacy technician at time of hire (MNRPhT); must be registered in Wisconsin as a pharmacy technician (WIRPhT) within 3 months of hire.

• Certified Pharmacy Technician, or willingness to become certified within three months of hire date. This requires the completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program, or at least one year of pharmacy technician experience.
