Job Title: SAP Finance Senior Consultant

 

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

We are looking for an exceptionally motivated senior SAP consultants to join a dynamic and forward-thinking Consumer Industries practice which is part of Customer Success delivery unit.  SAP’s Order-to-Cash practice teams are tight-knit groups with dynamic individuals fully committed to customer and partner success.  As active members of project implementation teams’ successful candidates will demonstrate product knowledge of SAP Finance and actively participate in full project implementation life-cycle tasks.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

 

• Deep knowledge in SAP General Ledger, accounts payable (FI-AP), accounts receivable (FI-AR), SAP FSCM and/or FI-CA solutions and processes
• Hands-on experience and knowledge in S/4 HANA Finance is a must-have.
• Deep functional and technical knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, with hands-on experience in customization and/or development
• Knowledgeable in General Ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets
• Solid understanding of SAP SD and OTC. 
• Integration experience of FI with SD/OTC is a plus.
• Experience on ECC to S/4HANA conversions and/or implementations is nice to have
• Basic understanding of ABAP, SAP tables and transactions is a must.  This individual should understand how to debug SAP Function Modules.
• This customer-facing role requires the ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex issues, problems, and proposed resolutions to C-level executives. Exceptional presentation and communication skills are essential for success in this position.
• Ability to freely travel without submitting a waiver or visa within North America; US citizen’s preferred.
• Understand SAP’s Cloud strategy.  Knowledge around SAP Toolchain is a plus.
• SAP Certification in Central Finance (C_S4FCF_2023) and/or Treasury (C_S4FTR_2023) a big plus but not required.

 

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

 

• Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization and Go Live of customer implementation projects
• Candidate must possess the ability and willingness to continually learn new and emerging technologies and “think outside the box”, to deliver creative solutions of new processes, as well as effectively identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues.
• Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage blueprint workshops/meetings with internal and external clients
• Demonstrate the ability to lead internal and external consulting teams during a project.
• Gain expertise in S4HANA Finance and localization solutions
• Providing a creative source of ideas/solutions to address problems
• Delivering billable components that meets customer’s needs
• Conduct knowledge sharing sessions with the rest of your team
• Knowledge of project implementation methodologies (e.g., SAP Activate, TOGAF) 
• Ability to build and lead diverse teams, including both customers and partners, even without explicit authority 

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

5+ years SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ERP consulting experience, preferably in the finance and quote to cash scenario 

5+ years implementing the SAP Solution.  Specially SAP Finance, SAP FSCM, or SAP Banking is required  

 

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or similar
