The Product Design team at Aiven lies at the core of our organization. This is a great opportunity to become an integral team member as a Senior Product Designer.

The Role:

We are looking for an outcome-driven, Senior Product Designer to help us shape and execute our product strategy through user-centered design. You will be connected to our office in either Helsinki or Berlin. You will join a growing Product Design team of talented designers who collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure that our product stays simple, accessible, and usable as we scale.

What You'll Do:

You have 5+ years of experience in UX and design skills that are applied to a growing B2B SaaS/PaaS product as you will:

• Lead with the right level of design for the right audience at the right time
• Design working prototypes in Figma based on our Design System
• Collaborate closely with your fellow Product Designers, Product Managers, and developers to ensure consistency in our overall product user experience
• Communicate and articulate your findings and design decisions in English, our main working language
• Be flexible and be comfortable with working in a dynamic environment that is continuously growing and changing
• Be pragmatic as you believe that continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection

What We're Looking For:

We need someone who approaches design challenges with creativity, curiosity, and an analytical perspective. As our target users are largely developers, database administrators, or otherwise technically oriented, you are also expected to be tech-savvy and comfortable diving into technical topics.
